Hi,

We have been out in Huddersfield today installing the Parrot MKi9200 into a Volvo S60.

The vehicle had the 13 speaker dolby sound system.....Not an Issue.

Using the standard SOT loom and adding an additional relay enabled us to connect the parrot directly to the vehicles 12 door speakers and also cut out the Centre dash speaker making the integration seemless.

We've been out in Huddersfield today fitting the Parrot MKi9200 into a VW Golf Mk V.

To be more precise, we've been on Leeds Rd, Huddersfield.

The customer had an Iphone 3GS.

The MKi range allows you to plug in the Iphone to the dock cable allowing Charging and music playback through the car speakers.

The 9200 gives track and album info as well as the album artwork on screen.

The alternative to the Parrot MKi 9200 in our opinion is the Bury cc9060 Music,

Audi Fiscon Phone Prep Fitted in Leeds!

This afternoon we have been out in Leeds fitting a fibre optic Fiscon OEM Retrofit system into a very nice Audi S5 on a 57 plate. The vehicle was Fitted with the full MMI High 2G system which runs on fibre optics.

We were able to link into the MOST loop with the Fiscon and gave our customer Audi Phone prep as well as the ability to stream his Iphone music over A2DP through the kit!

He had the Full Bang + Olufson system which meant that the sound quality transmitted in stereo over the A2DP and then into the Optic system sounded Fantastic!

We've been speaking to Chris Tolsen this morning about the possibility of upgrading his current Viser portable hands free to a professional system by Nokia!
The CK100 will allow bluetooth connection to his 6700 handset for hands free and will also allow him to stream any music stored on the handset through his car speakers over A2DP!

Out and About fitting the MKi9200 in Wakefield

Today we have been out in Wakefield for part of the day Supplying and Fitting the Parrot MKi9200 to a Citroen Dispatch Van!

This is a Great van but didnt have any means of playing the customers music stored on his Ipod or via A2DP from his Phone.

The Van was used by at least three people and so the Parrot was ideal as it can be paired to upto 10 different phones, so no matter who gets in the MKi will pick up the connection and display there numbers on the kit!

This morning I'm off early doors to fit the second of two MKi9200's for a company based in Sowerby Bridge, Halifax.

Both the guys have brand new BMW 3 Series E90 Vehicles.

All though they have an Aux in socket on there cars they dont get any visual info displayed.

With the MKi9200 not only do you have a Screen to view who is calling but this kit plays music too!

The kit can have an ipod/iphone plugged into the dock cable in the glove box which yo can then fully control from the wireless remote of the Parrot!

The MKi9200 will not only play your ipod, it also has the capability to play music off a USB Memory stick, SD Card, Aux in 3.5mm Jack or over Bluetooth A2DP

Nokia CK100 verses Parrot CK3100

This morning I'm off to Supply + Fit two handsfree kits. One in Honley and one in Milnsbridge.

One is the Parrot CK3100 and the other is the Nokia CK100.

Main differences.

The Nokia doesn't have a screen! But what it will do is Stream music over A2DP.

Where as the Parrot has an LCD Screen which displays caller information such as Number, Phonebook and Caller ID.

Nokia Kits used to only work properly with Nokia handsets, this is no longer the case. Nokia Kits will now work with a large selection of non Nokia handsets.

The Parrot CK3100 however is just about King when it comes to compatibility.

This kit was designed to pair to virtually any bluetooth enabled handset!

So there you have it in Breif.

The New Bury 9060 Music

The latest release from Bury is an adapt-ion of the widely known CC9060.

The Bury Music has the same screen set up as the CC9060 but now includes Multipointing which allows the connection of 2 handsets at the same time, which ever one rings takes priority of the kits Handsfree!

Not only that but it also now incorporates an Ipod/Iphone dock cable to allow music streaming just like its partner in crime, the Parrot MKi range.

Track text is displayed on screen and full control of music selection is available via the screen and also via....get this....voice activation on the new Magic word feature.

Lets just say you have Micheal Jackson music stored on your Ipod, Simple say 'Micheal Jackson' to the Bury Kit and it will command your ipod to select and play this music through the Kit! How Clever is that!

Replace your existing Factory Fit VW CD Head unit with the New VW RNS-510 Navigation Headunit.

Camelectric Ltd now offer the RNS-510 Sat Nav's for newer shape VW's. These units have a built in 30GB Hard Drive which can store media and Maps. The units are touch screen making them very simple to use and they also play DVD's. They have an SD card slot so you can load an SD card with MP3’s and play them back on the RNS510.

The RNS510 unit is also able to have the Fiscon Bluetooth Hands free Kit added. This kit works in the same way as the VW handsfree but it isnt restricted to rSAP phones like the VW Factory Kit, this makes the range of handsets compatible much greater, if fitted the RNS will displays Names and Numbers on the Sat Nav Screen and in the DIS cluster display.

We supply and fit the Fiscon Kits to work with or without the RNS510.

You can choose either reconditioned or Brand New units, all come with a 12 month warranty.
